Please remember to put all announcements in the announcement book by Friday noon. They will then be typed up for the News & Notes and be available for the 5PM and 7:45 services as well.
Worship
Music - If there is anyone who would be willing to play (guitar, organ, piano, keyboard etc.) for the Sat. evening services, please contact Carl K
Anyone interested in providing Summer music, please sign up on the sheet in the hall or see Carl K.
Reach
This months theme for the Northboro Food Pantry is condiments and cereals (especially oatmeal, shredded wheat) etc. We are hoping to collect extra food during the months of July & August for Victory In ChristChurch in Worcester. A list of things needed will be by the basket.
Westboro State Hospital Cook-out Sat., July 26 from 11:30 - 1PM. Volunteers needed for cooking and serving. See Brad N or sign up on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.
Teach
Summer Sunday School Program in room 6 for grades preschool through grade 4.
V.B.S. Power Lab setup volunteers needed for Sunday, August 3 at 6PM in the church hall.
V.B.S. Staff please pick up your t-shirts and final assignments.
VBS also needs the following items: Horn, big flashlight, spray bottle, Oatmeal, large fan, 4 blue tarps, white Christmas lights, caution tape, attachable light, black/brown spray paint, headbands (athletic type), and strong cord for hanging sheets.
Summer Study of Celtic Spirituality - Join Fr. Len this Wed. at 7:30 as we continue a summer study and conversation about Celtic Christian Spirituality.
Willow Creek Leadership Summit 2008: “Lead Where You are” Telecast from Willow Creek in IL to over 100 cities in the US & Canada. The Summit this year is on Thurs. & Fri., Aug. 7-8 at Grace Chapel, Lexington, MA. Come and raise your leadership skills to the next level. Some of the more notable speakers will be; Bill Hybels, & Chuck Colson. Pick up a brochure from the Sunday Worship space bulletin board or call Pete M or Fr. Len at 508-393-3146 for more info. You will need Nativity’s membership number to complete the registration form and get the discounted rate. Fr. Len or Pete can provide you with a blank form.
Care
Volunteers needed to mow Irene T’s lawn. The job takes about 1 to 1˝ hours and lawn mower is available. If you can help, please see Brad N.
Celebrate
Rose of Sharon plants available for our parishioners. Please take them and use them or give them away. It is a great opportunity to give a plant to a non member and tell them about Nativity and what we have been up to and to share the good news.
