Pledging
Since most of the parish budget comes from the giving of our members, each fall we have a Stewardship Drive when we are asked to make a 'pledge' to give a certain amount of money in the coming year. This is a private decision based on a percentage of our income that we choose to give, with 10% being the Bible's standard for our total giving to God's work (to the church and to other godly charities). We are asked to fill out a Pledge Card which is seen only by the Pledge Treasurer and the Rector. In case of an increase or decrease in our income, our pledge can be adjusted accordingly by calling the Pledge Treasurer.
Here are the ways you can pledge:
- Pick up a pledge form from the church and fill it in. Bring it to church and drop it in the offering, or mail it to us at 46 Howard St, Northboro, MA 01532.

Firstfruits and Tithes
Church of the Nativity offers an optional method of making your annual pledge commitment to the church utilizing Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). This program allows you to sign up and have your pledge contribution electronically withdrawn on a periodic basis from your savings or checking account.
The title for this e program comes from the title shown for Deuteronomy Chapter 26 in the NIV Serendipity Bible for Study Groups. In a modern way, those utilizing this program will be using Electronic Fund Transfer to set aside Firstfruits to their church, and support the ministries of Church of the Nativity and its mission outreach. The title acknowledges that we are joyfully giving to God our Firstfruits and Tithes. Church of the Nativity is blessed with pledge givers who give at sacrificial levels, with a number of members giving a Tithe to the church. We hope and believe this program will aid parishioners with setting their personal budgets and allow their sacrificial giving level over time to commit to giving a tithe as a joyful expression of the abundance God has given us. It will also facilitate those currently giving the tithe, and implementing that level of giving throughout the church year.

We have made available an application if you would like to sign up for EFT. To sign up, download the form, print it out and fill out the form with the requested information. Submit the filled out form with a sample voided check or savings deposit slip to the Pledge Treasurer. Note that for security purposes, we do not provide on-line submission of this form since it contains sensitive information.
