Nativity Community Preschool
Nativity Preschool is excited to announce outdoor learning for the 20/21 school year! Classes will be held primarily outdoors, with our number one goal being to provide a stress-free environment for preschoolers to socialize and have fun with one another. Please contact us for more details.
Nativity is blessed to sponsor a Preschool for children from our surrounding communities.
Our Preschool seeks to provide children with an environment that is fun and exciting, and at the same time challenging. We offer a Christian atmosphere of caring and acceptance and operate by values that are shared with the Church of the Nativity.
The philosophy of our preschool program is based on the developmental approach to education. The children will participate in self -motivated learning through active exploration and interaction with children, adults , and materials.
Our Preschool is inspected and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and all our staff are fully trained, licensed, supervised, and background-checked. Coordinated by our Director, the School operates under the authority of the Vestry (Church Board) of the Church of the Nativity, and is overseen by a Preschool Board which includes members of the parish and a parent of a current student.
Preschool classes are available from 9:00am to 11:30am on all school days. Parents may enroll their child in a two day (Tues/Thurs) program, a three day (Mon/Wed/Fri) program recommended for children who will be starting school the following year, or a four day Pre - Kindergarten (Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri) program. An extended day program is available on Mondays until 1:00pm and an Enrichment day is offered on Thursdays for MWF/Pre -K students.
