Sunday School Programs

Godly Play

Ages 3 to 8

The Godly Play program is a Montessori-based religious education program. It uses an imaginative approach to working with children, an approach that supports, challenges, nourishes and guides their spiritual exploration.

Godly Play presents Biblical stories to the children and then asks wondering questions to help the children explore their relationship with God. Our Godly Play class includes grades preschool to first grade. The mix of ages enriches the discussion, and the interactions between the age groups are supportive and loving.

10:00AM on Sundays in the downstairs classrooms.

R.O.C.K.

Ages 9 to 12

ROCK is our dynamic Christian education program for middle elementary and early middle schoolers, happening in the conference room during the Liturgy of the Word at our 10:00AM service. This isn’t your typical Sunday school—it’s an interactive, hands-on adventure through the Bible!

Here, young Christians don’t just hear the stories—they dive into them. They explore ancient words in Hebrew and Greek, map out biblical journeys, piece together timelines, and uncover the powerful symbols and connections woven throughout Scripture. But the best part? They take the lead!

ROCK is a collaborative space where kids ask big questions, think critically, and engage in lively discussions to discover what the story of Jesus and faith means to them. With movement, conversation, and exploration at the heart of every lesson, ROCK isn’t just a class—it’s a journey of faith like no other!

Journey to Adulthood

Ages 12+

What happens when you start to age out of Sunday School? A transition to Young Adulthood!

Otherwise known as J2A, this journey begins with Rite 13, a transformational experience that prepares middle schoolers for Confirmation and a deeper understanding of their faith.

Rite 13 isn’t just a class—it’s a time of discovery, reflection, and growth. Students explore what it means to follow Christ, build strong spiritual foundations, and embrace their place in the church and the world. At the heart of this journey is a powerful rite of passage ceremony, celebrating the transition from childhood to young adulthood within a faith-filled community.

Through thought-provoking discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world connections, students don’t just learn about faith—they claim it as their own. This is a space where young people ask big questions, wrestle with meaningful ideas, and prepare to take the next step with confidence and joy.
